WHAT IS BIO SCULPTURE GEL?
Bio Sculpture offers a permanent nail colour that lasts for weeks without wearing or chipping. The advantage of Bio Sculpture Colour Gel is that you can easily change your nail colour by simply applying Bio Sculpture Varnish. Later the polish can be removed with Bio Sculpture’s specially formulated non-acetone cleanser and the permanent nail colour will be restored to its original state. When wiped with non-acetone cleanser the permanent colour will not be removed in the same fashion as nail varnish.

Bio Sculpture Gel is a one component nail treatment that strengthens and promotes the growth of natural nails. Applied onto a prepared nail our product cures under a UV light, leaving the nail strong but flexible with a natural glossy finish.

Gel Extensions
Add length naturally. One of the advantages of Bio Sculpture Gel is it’s revolutionary Sculpting Gel. A unique feature to Bio Sculpture Sculpting Gel is its ability to be used to sculpt a durable but flexible natural looking nail. The Sculpting Gel is opaque in colour the same as a natural nail, a perfect natural look. Gel nail sculptures assure length without the use of tips and glues and will last until the natural nail has grown out to the required length. I usually recommend natural overlays, but if you have a few nails which are shorter then you can extend those to match.
Overlay
An application of Clear Gel, Colour Gel or French Gel onto a prepared natural nail. It will leave a shiny, flexible, durable protection and give a neat, well groomed appearance. It gives the effect of a longer lasting nail varnish. They will look very natural but give your own nail more strength and look fantastic.

Backfills
After 2-3 weeks your nail would have grown leaving an area at the back of the nail which needs to be infilled. At this point in time you can have the gap filled in. I recommend 1-2 backfills after the first set, and then for best results, have them soaked off and start again with a new set. This also gives you the opportunity to see the condition of your own nail underneath and make sure that it is healthy. It also prevents the gel from becoming too thick.
Nail Biters
If you just can't break the habit of biting your nails, Bio Sculpture gel Nails may be just the answer for you. Extensions can usually be created even if you have no nail (literally no nail at all!). A nail can be sculpted from the special gel Sculpting Gel. I recommend having a fairly dark colour overlay when your nails have been extended from being very short. This gives the best result and you will not stop staring at your nails!! Be aware that if you have badly bitten nails, the maintenance will be more than someone with longer nails because they will not have the same strength at first. With perseverance though, we will have your nails growing in no time! The other option for nail biters is to apply a clear gel overlay over your natural length nails. At first they will just look a little shiner than your normal nails and will be stronger, but very soon you will find they will start to grow.
Maintenance
Most people always want to know how much time they need to spend looking after their nails. In between backfills, you will need to reapply the high gloss top coat. This is just a nail varnish but it keeps your gel nails waterproofed and thus prevents lifting. The very least you need to do is reapply this once a week. If you often have your hands in water, or do a lot of gardening, or cleaning, you may wish to reapply it every 2-3 days or just before you start a job so that they are protected. At this time, you can also file your nails down if you feel they need it and buff down with a file any patches that look as if they may be starting to lift. This will keep them as nice as possible between visits.
The top coat is £6 to purchase, and you need to remove the old nail varnish with either non acetone nail varnish remover, or dual cleanser. These are £4.50 each. There is also an after care kit available which keeps everything you need together in a pvc bag. It also includes an instruction leaflet on how to take care of your nails.
